4th Grade Geometric String Art


Students worked through a design process on paper to create several string art designs. Their design required the use of 16 holes on a circular shape. The goal was to create a design where colors and strings crossed in a visually appealing way.


·      I can create a visually appealing cardboard frame using a paint scraping technique.
·      I can thread and tie a needle on a piece of string.
·      I can successfully complete my design that I planned for.
·      I can persevere through challenges.
·      I can reflect on my artistic process.
